New At Squidoo Lens Reviews In 2010

Update: A continuation of these efforts to showcase quality writers has evolved into a move to WordPress. See more here.

As the new year has moved into its second week, I've finally gotten around to making some changes here. The site is cleaner, has a new logo, and just generally feels better to me. More like a serious blog. I hope you like it.

The most important change is going to be in the lenses I promote. As my work online has increased, so has the time I have to spend with the blog decreased. I don't want to stop the blog, by any means! I've promoted around 500 lenses so far, and I'd like that to continue. I think I even reviewed a lens twice! Yes, after so many lenses, one can forget these things. But, I digress. Let me tell you what I'd like to see on the blog this year. I'd like to see nothing but top-quality work from top writers. And who better to tell me where this work is than you as you run across it?

Here's how: Discover a lens with great writing and send email to lenses at growwear.com with just the lens link. Quick, simple, fast. You don't have to say how much you love the lens or anything, just copy, paste, hit Send. If I use it, you'll get a referral link to your lensmaster bio page.

I am determined that if I don't see anything to promote after a 30-minute search each day, I will not blog that day. And I am on a five-day roll here, so your help in leading me to the best of the best writing and lensbuilding on Squidoo would be invaluable — it would save me time, ensure a daily lens, and get you a referral link.

And that's how I propose that we help each other out this year. Would you? Could you? I sure would appreciate it!

  1. Love the new look and approach. Focus is hard at times, and help is always...well....help.

I'm pretty sure that it was Buddy Guy who made that lens as entertaining as it is.

I just tuned in and went along for the ride ;)

  2. Alex, thank you!

Well now, my take is that Buddy Guy is fantastic, but *your* passion does shine through there. (http://blog.growwear.com/2010/01/buddy-guy-blues-legend.html)

  3. Your new plan sounds very reasonable, and yes, it is time to simplify all our work -- and the site looks great too. very minimalist!

  4. Thank you, Joan. "Focus," that's pretty much turning into a mantra with some of us! Happy Sunday to you!
