Farm Staycation

Sleepy Hollow Farm, Woodstock, VT

It's vacation time! If you have kids, you need to take them on a farm staycation. If you have never experienced farm life, you need to go on a farm staycation. If you miss the farm life you once had, you need to go back. A farm staycation is where you vacation and sample life on a working farm. Experience being at one with nature again. Your kids will be deliriously happy running through the creeks and catching tadpoles or helping with the baby animals. The farm life is a beautiful life where even the backbreaking work has a satisfying feel to it. At Farm Staycation, Shawna-Taylor will tell you some things about farm life and offer tips and suggestions on where to go to find nature again!

The Corrie Ten Boom Life — A Tribute To An Heroine

Detail of Holocaust Memorial, South Beach, Miami, Florida

I picked up a book by Corrie Ten Boom a long time ago and read of her life as a watchmaker's daughter and of how she and her family saved as many people as they could from the terror of Hitler. I have never forgotten this beautiful human being. That would be impossible. Just to think of her makes my heart swell with tenderness. Visit The Corrie Ten Boom Life -- A Tribute to an Heroine, by Wbisbill.
