It's been building. How could it not?
A year or so ago, I found Tom Stone's photography set, American Poverty. I told him a week ago how much I love his images. I asked for permission to use some of them in a lens.
Homeless In America is the result.
As I built the lens, tears built up, the feeling of love for these people built up. Despair for life lost built up. Comments on the lens built up. Today, three days after publication, the lens has a Purple Star. Now, I am there playing the song, Walk A Mile In My Shoes. And the tears are coming.
Life hurts. Life is joy. Life is love.
