Alex's response to the QOTW (Do you ever feel unproductive at Squidoo?):

That's a trick question Mimi. ;)

What would one consider productive? Can the same definition be applied to other sites? How about life in general?

I see productivity as a measure of throughput. What am I producing towards set goals, and am I being efficient at reaching my goals?

My goals at Squidoo have changed from promoting my store to contributing to the community. That being said, I feel happy about my productivity by measuring the throughput of quality lens crafting, promotion of others, and helping those who ask.

In other words, I don't put up the number of lens others do, but because of my efforts more lensmasters are feeling confident about their talents and skills and are producing. In the end, Squidoo is better for the quality of the lensmasters and their work, not because of one person who creates tons.
