We have a new lensmaster in our midst whose first lens shows much promise. Lensmaster Momtothezoo is originally from the Pendleton, SC area, so she knows a few Squids you might know: OhMe, Sittonbull, and Joan4. OhMe did a feature on Momtothezoo, and in the process, this made Momtothezoo fall in love with what Squidoo is all about. Her first lens, Life In My Grandmother's Time, is like a promise — a promise of even greater things to come. Do drop in and welcome Momtothezoo to Squidoo.
Mimi, this is so nice. Jeanie has really gotten the royal welcome to Squidoo and I know she must be pleased. I can't wait for her to see this. Thank you
ReplyDeleteWhat a pleasure to meet Eugenia! Her writing flows so beautifully. It's a peek into her heart, isn't it? You've mined a real gem there, MiMi.
ReplyDeleteMimi, I just returned from Bible Study this morning and found this from Ohme. Thank you so much for your praise...I only hope I can live up to it. I am really enjoying this and it is so good to have a place to write down all that constantly runs through my mind! I am looking forward to getting into other lens so that I can peek into the minds of those like myself.
ReplyDeleteNancy and Bonnie, she's a born Squid and I would not have found her this soon had it not been for you, Nancy. :)
ReplyDeleteJeanie, absolutely no pressure. You don't need it. You just need to be the you that's on your first lens. You have even gone back over the lens and made improvements. That's exactly what I knew you would do! I believe also that you will continue to grow and improve here at Squidoo. Compete only with yourself. :)
I have created several Squidoo lenses myself about a few New York Press writers: Alan Cabal, William Monahan, and Jim Knipfel. It's fun!
