At around 7.30 am UK time Monday to Friday, I fire up my PC and check my in-box. It is a great start to the day as if my Squidfriends have been visiting my lenses, (while in the UK I have been asleep) then I get notified of their comments. More often than not, there is a note from Squidoosphere telling me which blogs have been updated and this morning I saw the title "wannabe a writer?", more than once. I quickly scanned down to see who else had a blog with the title of my newest lens and wow! here I am.
MiMi, your support of me and other Lensmasters never ceases to make me feel a warm glow inside. When you consider that this is probably at the expense of making your own Lenses, it makes me feel...well I dont know how to explain it really. You are one of the many things that is good about Squidoo and whenever I see something that maybe makes me stop and think: "Oh dear, I'm not sure about that" (yes, that's the polite translation of what I am thinking), I only have to think about what you and Lensmasters like you bring to Squidoo and I am reassured.
I loved writing "wannabe a writer?" The idea has been with me since the beginning of the year but last Friday was the day I thought: "Right, here we go!"
I thought I was sitting down just to do a book review but then it just expanded. The creativity flowed and my "AJ" sense of humour kicked in. That hasn't happened for a long time. Having the girls do the cartoons was great fun and I think I may just do it some more as it brings more family involvement into the process, which has to be good, eventhough they do poke fun at "Mum being a writer".
As for having more time to write lenses like that - well, (and this is spooky!) I made a decision on Monday, that will do just that. Stand by for a blog......
Thank you MiMi - what a lovely start to my Thursday!
