Lensmaster Rockycha Interview

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What makes you passionate about Squidoo.com?

Rockycha: Squidoo is the most amazing site and group of people - I'm passionate about Squidoo because it affords anyone the opportunity to share their passions and ideas in a free forum while at the same time offering the potential for an "at home" income. In addition, quite literally, the sky is the limit - there's unbounded potential to express all of our passions continually through this amazing and adaptable medium. It's such a blessing and because there is such freedom and ease in lens creation, anyone can be a success.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: Is Squidoo perfect already or what could make it better

Rockycha: In my mind, it's pretty perfect. It would be very cool to have customizable colors for our lenses in terms of the basic squidoo page format, but I'm certainly not complaining - Squidoo.com's lenses are extremely well formatted and already have good visual appeal.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What inspires you to make a new lens?

Rockycha: I especially enjoy watching trends in children's toys. I'm definitely a kid at heart! When I'm skipping through the kid's channels and cartoon shows, I usually come across some toy commercials and enthusiastically exclaim: "I want one of those!" I suppose it sounds pretty strange for a 50 year old lady to be this interested in toys, but I can't help myself - fun is fun!

Squidoo Lens Reviews: How many lenses do you have?

Rockycha: I currently have 59 lenses and 13 in progress.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What is your most popular lens?

Rockycha: My most popular lens is UB Funkeys - it's a group of little toy characters that also connect to your computer and lets kids play games and travel around different worlds, either online or stand alone.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What one sentence or one word describes your success?

Rockycha: A willingness to learn and research. Association with Squidoo.com is a continual process of learning: marketing, web design, social skills and consumer trends and interests. It's very much like learning a new language - everything is both a process of discovery and development of skills.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What should a newbie do first?

Rockycha: Read and study successful lensmasters. I don't claim to be very successful with squidoo at all by comparison. I'm still learning from lensmasters that produce many more lenses and generate much better income through their efforts. In addition to learning lensbuilding skills, learning the secrets of marketing your lenses is just as important.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: Which of your lenses do you want to make sure the whole world knows about?

Rockycha: Letter to My Family and Friends is my most important lens and the very center of my heart. Pretty much all of my other lenses are meant for having fun!
