Squidoo Lens Reviews: What makes you passionate about Squidoo.com?


CrypticFragments: Squidoo has been a platform to share my interests, passions, and knowledge as well as my art and writings. It has taught me a lot about networking and using internet tools which were not available when I was in school. It has also introduced me to many fine creative kind people.


Squidoo Lens Reviews: Is Squidoo perfect already or what could make it better?


CrypticFragments: To be honest, I have not been happy about many aspects of Squidoo. I think there should be a better filter for quality, and definitely a different lensrank system. I do not feel it's fair that someone who posts a link to a crap lens on a high traffic forum and gets everyone to visit and vote for it should be ranked higher, ergo getting better pay, than a quality lens which receives little traffic.


Squidoo Lens Reviews: What inspires you to make a new lens?


CrypticFragments: Having something which needs to be said. I am seriously thinking of focusing on creating a new lens/series of lenses which focuses on these... the America I see where presidential candidates promote hatred based on race and religion in a country which is supposed to be free, progressive and hold a place of importance in THE WORLD (over 98% of which is against the political right).


Or showcasing a new set of products or design/art venture.


Squidoo Lens Reviews: How many lenses do you have?


CrypticFragments: Well, I have created 132 as CrypticFragments, and about a dozen as GypsyGirl68.
I recently sold 2/3 of my CrypticFragments account and am only keeping the ones about myself, my art/design, writings etc.


Squidoo Lens Reviews: What is your most popular lens?


CrypticFragments: By popular I am assuming you mean highest ranked.
As CrypticFragments, it is Domestic Violence Info and Resources. As GypsyGirl68, it is Weird 80s Music Videos.


Squidoo Lens Reviews: What one sentence or one word describes your success?


CrypticFragments: Try try try and keep trying as you read and learn from the masters/SquidU etc.


Squidoo Lens Reviews: What should a newbie do first?


CrypticFragments: Create a quality lens...lots of content on a valid pertinent topic which has not been done 20 times already...then polish it, editing for grammar, semantics, adding relevant affiliate product links... add it to Squidoo directories, submit it to search engines, and let the world know about it.

Islam for non-Muslims. There cannot be a more important topic right now to help promote peace and inter-cultural understanding...
