New Giant Squid, Susannaduffy, has a Second Life as Queenie Moriarty, Marriage Maestra. In that second life, she performs marriage ceremonies -- around 700 of them! She's even performed a renewal ceremony for a couple she previously married! Her virtual cathedral, Ave Stella Maris, has been awarded Best Church Build in SL. This is my first time reading about someone's experience of and participation in Second Life. Susanna says she even makes a little money at it. What I personally like most about her lens on it is that her experience with it gives her the chance to be "in constant contact with happy people." How cool is that? Happy people making you smile. An included YouTube Video shows Queenie Moriarty in her SL world, and another shows a preview of tomorow night's (Oct. 24) CSI: NY episode where Second Life is integrated into the show.
