Wow! Did you know that watercolor is considered the most difficult paint technique to master? So beautiful, though. New Giant Squid, Lakeerieartists didn't know it when she started learning and even had no other painting experience! My Journey into Watercolor is her account of falling in love with and learning watercolor. She discusses how her style differs from tradional watercolorists since she "wasn't educated in a classical fashion in art school" and "came at watercolor training in a somewhat backwards way." I agree Mimi, this is a well put together lens and I wish I did more painting - currently the only painting I do at the moment is scenery & props!
