Unwelcome News
In the past two days, my husband went from a doctor visit to emergency surgery. I write this from his hospital room. The doctor found a mass in his throat -- a laryngeal seal, I believe it's called. Things are happening so fast that I am not caught up on the names and such. There's been a tracheotomy and a biopsy. His lung collapsed post surgery. His doctor told us last night that he wants us to go to Chapel Hill, NC to have the growth removed. The condition is very rare and Chapel Hill was recommended. Now, we are gearing up for the trip and the surgery. I do hope you will pardon me if I slack up a bit here. For the next few days or so, I will try to get at least the QOTD up. If it works out where I can do more I most definitely will. However, I must tell you that I am exhausted already -- so we'll see. Take care now.

Now to more important matters -- your husband\'s health. I have already prayed to Heavenly Father to heal him through the perfect doctors and medical treatments. May you have peace through this difficult time. I\'ve been where you are (with an ill husband). It\'s very stressful. Take care of him, and take care of YOURSELF. You will find that YOU will get tired too. And no one is bringing YOU flowers. :-)
