www.SquidPoint.com uses the same software that www.Lensroll.com and www.Squidom.com do, so you should find it easy to use. There's two extra categories for Groups and Lensmasters, plus there's a badge you can put on your lens to show how many votes it has.
Actually, it appears, Squidpoint only offers a redirect on links out to Squidoo lenses. I am not sure if that counts as a link-to. I, generally, don't see the point in submitting to sites that only offer redirects or no-follow unless they have high traffic.
P.S. Squidom.com does not use the same software as Lensroll, though similar. ;)
Ok, so I checked out the redirect situation more thoroughly. They offer a 301 redirect which will pass link juice. So, I'd say, yes, I will sign up and use it. :)
I do plan to join SquidPoint. It is highly recommended by Joan4, and with 54 lenses under her belt, she pretty much has some sway with me. :)
ReplyDeletehttp://www.squidpoint.com/ ? Hadn't heard of it. How is it different from lensroll? Do we really need another attempt at Digg for squidoo?
ReplyDeleteSo for now - no, I'm not going to go there. I may in future.

ReplyDeleteIt's another place to get links from.
