Lensmaster SharonMay Interview

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What makes you passionate about Squidoo.com?

SharonMay: I love Squidoo because it is so easy to make a lens from scratch. You don't need to be a computer genius. Anyone can make a lens. I love it because I get money from my lens on a monthly basis from the royalties on each lens without doing anything. You can make money yourself or donate it to a charity of your choice.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: Is Squidoo perfect already or what could make it better?

SharonMay: Squidoo is almost perfect. I like lenses with great content. There needs to be more emphasis on good content and a minimum of how many content module you should have.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What inspires you to make a new lens?

SharonMay: I find a topic I am interested in and write about it. It comes from things I see or do everyday like teaching children.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: How many lenses do you have?

SharonMay: I have 16 lenses at the moment but am planning more. I would like to be a "giant squid" one day with 50 lenses. My newest one I created this week is Kindergarten Activities.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What is your most popular lens?

SharonMay: Easy Beading Patterns has consistently good traffic. This one is very popular too when school starts again: Reading Comprehension Activities

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What one sentence or one word describes your success?

SharonMay: Writing about topics I know and love.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What should a newbie do first?

SharonMay: Write about something they love or have a real interest in.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: Which of your lenses do you want to make sure the whole world knows about?

SharonMay: Alzheimers Disease. I would like more people to understand the journey of Alzheimer's and its effects on a family. It is so much more than just a disease that makes people forget.
