Lensmaster Debnet Interview

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What makes you passionate about Squidoo.com?

Debnet: I love the variety on there. I enjoy 'meeting' so many interesting people who have such diverse interests. I learn so much from reading about things I never knew about and I enjoy creating new lenses....plus the fact it's SOOO addictive!!!

Squidoo Lens Reviews: Is Squidoo perfect already or what could make it better?

Debnet: Hhhhmmm...is anything perfect? A few little quirky things annoy me from time to time but as I'm still fairly new to squidoo, I don't feel qualified to suggest any improvements as it could just be me getting used to things!

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What inspires you to make a new lens?

Debnet: Anything!! When I signed up, I had a very clear idea of what I wanted to do and so far I've strayed away from that apart from 2 of my lenses. I get ideas pop into my head for the strangest things, then off I go!

Squidoo Lens Reviews: How many lenses do you have?

Debnet: 9 published, one almost ready to go and another 8 waiting to be started on. [As of this posting, Debnet has produced 13 total lenses!]

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What is your most popular lens?

Debnet: Fish & Chips!!!!

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What one sentence or one word describes your success?

Debnet: I'd like to think originality of content and quality.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What should a newbie do first?

Debnet: Look at other lenses, especially those in the top 100. Note down what it is you like or don't like and then getting going on your own lenses.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: Which of your lenses do you want to make sure the whole world knows about?

Debnet: Oh gosh, that's a toughie. One of my newest lenses which others can participate in, is FAMILY HEIRLOOMS. I'd love to see that one take off.

  3. Great interview. As a beginner, I enjoy Debnet's lenses precisely because she offers quality content and interesting ideas. My favorite is her Fish and Chips lens.
