Lensmaster Flowergardner Interview

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What makes you passionate about Squidoo.com?

Flowergardner: The fact that it's a platform that works much better than I have ever managed to accomplish on my own in relation to getting noticed by the search engines.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: Is Squidoo perfect already or what could make it better?

Flowergardner: Umm, I don't think anything is perfect except God. Squidoo could use better image options, which is supposed to be on the way. I also think we could implement more 'security' against spam and scams and under-aged lensmasters.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What inspires you to make a new lens?

Flowergardner: One of the things is a passion to 'inform', hopefully in a way that can reach the unreachable, or make a topic that was 'fuzzy' more clear. A big inspiration lies kinda selfishly behind my desire to share what I'm passionate about.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: How many lenses do you have?

Flowergardner: Right now I've got 91 lenses and 7 groups.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What is your most popular lens?

Flowergardner: Well, I guess it would be, if you compute the visits, Dog Worms. It's not my #1 lens, but it has over 2,000 visits every week. Sick and gross huh? ha-ha-ha.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What one sentence or one word describes your success?

Flowergardner: Perseverance.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: What should a newbie do first?

Flowergardner: Play! Yep, play. Play with their first lens, it won't bite you. Choose some modules, click their options, see how they work. The lens that Mimi was so kind to review and approve was my very first lens, and it took me about 2-3 days to create. Of course, it wasn't as large as it currently is, but that's fun part of Squidoo too, the fact that you can always go back to a lens and either add more stuff, or scrap it and start all over.

Squidoo Lens Reviews: Which of your lenses do you want to make sure the whole world knows about?

Flowergardner: There are lot of dog owners and dog lovers in the world, including me. I would like to help them with my Dog Medicines and Their Side Effects lens. It's an eye-opener (and my #1 lens).
